About us
Ryan Scandura started RS Electronics LLC after realizing he had a passion for repairing things, helping people and the humbling complexity of electronics. Combined with a passion for music, Ryan quickly realized amplifiers were his main calling for electronics repair. After a few amplifier rescue repairs and some friends asking for repairs, it was apparent there was a need for these services. A few years later, Ryan decided to try repairing a couple treadmill MCB’s upon request and the rest was history. Coupled with some great business partners, Ryan’s portfolio grew to many different models of fitness machinery electronics repairs as well.
Thomas Scandura (Ryan's father) went to college for electronics engineering in the 80's and worked for several companies over his 45 year career in the electronics industry. Tom worked on VCR's, tube televisions, plasmas, DVD players, cassette tape decks, treadmill MCB's, treadmill displays, stereos, amplifiers and designed various circuits. This is where Ryan learned most of his electronics knowledge. He retired during the Covid pandemic and only does Precor IFT's/displays now but will occasionally do amplifier repairs upon request.
Amplifier repairs
Whether solid state or tube, we have you covered. As musicians ourselves, we know what these amps should be doing and enjoy working on each amplifier like it is our own.
Each amplifier is taken apart and thoroughly inspected. Once the problem is diagnosed, customers are advised on an approximate cost for the repair.
Fitness Circuit board repairs
We have experience repairing displays, motor control boards and circuit boards for elliptical machines. what started out as an interest, turned into a large array of motor control boards. Our company has sucessfully repaired (but not limited to) Landice MCBs, Precor, Cybex, Icon, ProForm, Sole, Nautilus, True, Life, Spirit, Technogym and even some odd variable speed controls for treadmills.
